My personal battle with debilitating health anxiety began in 2010 after the birth of my first child. Severe depersonalization/derealization (DPDR), followed by my first panic attack, left me feeling disconnected from reality and absolutely convinced something was medically wrong with me. Despite my extensive background in psychology, I felt lost and overwhelmed. Determined to regain control, I relentlessly sought to understand my health anxiety, eventually uncovering the keys to recovery. Now, my mission is to guide others along the path to healing.
I suffered for years, constantly Googling symptoms, going to doctors, and panicking after every sensation in my body. I was fed up and exhausted, so I decided to trust Erin's process.I remember a weekend hike with my family when, for the first time in years, I wasn't obsessing about my health.
